About The Kingsgate Hotel & Casino
A Brighton landmark since the late 1990s, built around the idea that a great hotel evening should include somewhere memorable to spend it.
A Regency Building, Reimagined
The Kingsgate occupies a restored Regency-era building overlooking Regency Square, a short walk from Brighton's seafront. Originally a townhouse, the property was converted into a hotel in the late 1990s and has since been extended to include its dining rooms, bar and casino lounge.
The renovation kept much of the building's original character — high ceilings, tall sash windows and ornate cornicing — while introducing a warmer, more contemporary interior in navy, brass and cream tones throughout the public rooms.
A Hotel Designed Around the Evening
Every part of The Kingsgate is arranged around the idea of a complete evening out — dinner, drinks, and time on the casino floor, all without leaving the building.
Heritage Architecture
Original Regency features preserved throughout the public rooms and façade.
Seafront Setting
Positioned within a few minutes' walk of Brighton Pier and the promenade.
Responsible Operation
Casino floor access strictly limited to verified guests aged 18 and over.
Set Between the City and the Sea
Regency Square places the hotel within easy reach of both central Brighton and its coastline. Guests can walk to the Lanes shopping quarter in around ten minutes, or reach the seafront promenade in under five.
